If you want to store these for a long time and subject them to a lot of rough treatment you might want to make a sugar solution for wetting them. The sugar will hold them stiffer for a longer time. Also the longer they are in the press the better ( I did 2-3 min) You can scale this up for wash rags and tee shirts. More pressure is better.
