I’ve seen the crap people tossed in that they thought they would “need” but never used…crap that adds up to unnecessary pounds quickly. Sometimes it’s useful to get past your preconceived notions and realize very little of what you think will happen will happen. Bags Bugout, Bug home, Bug whatever are not meant to be static supply’s. In fact anticipated needs is a very dynamic thing. It all come down to what “YOU” will need.

This is casein glue like the white glue we all use in school ( kind of)

1. Add vinegar to lukewarm skimmed milk so it curdles.
2. Drain the liquid component off from the solids.
3. Put solids onto a strainer to drain off excess liquid
4. In a bowl, add a base (such as sodium bicarbonate, ammonia or washing soda) to the curds, bit by bit, until they change into a creamy mixture. You now have casein glue.
Note that what you have at step 2 is low fat cottage cheese, so this can be used instead, skipping step 1.

This preparation lacks the antimicrobial present in commercial glue, so will spoil in storage. It may be frozen in ice cube trays for later use, or made when wanted.

Making power lugs is easy and cheap.

Tarp-Tying Tips

If you have a tarp or space blanket, using rocks in the corners to tie into knots will make a much more stable shelter than will just weighing down the corners.

These were not even close to military spec. In fact probably expired when I got them.

I bought them a long time ago. They were supposed to be Military M.R.E. With heaters. if they were sold as camping or some other kind of M.R.E. then that would be ok. But they said 100% military issue. I think they were expired M.R.E.’s and repackaged then sold as new.

I am going to start making these in advance . Im tired of wind blowing my  magnesium dust everywhere. With this I can just put it in the pile i’m lighting. I’m thinking now I bet i could drill a chap bar from Harbor freight ( Like the one i’m using ) and make better filings. I might also plug it up with char cloth or cotton balls who know. I can see a lot of possibilities for this.

I dont know why you would not buy a real seal but anything is better then dead in an emergency.

In an emergency an improvised Occlusive Dressing can be a life saver. It’s best to have a real one in your kit. they run about 25 bucks.
and you could easily make out of plastic and tape. But I carry this and a cheap extra.

It’s indoor and stealth good for getting info when the power is out or a natural disaster has happened.

Stealth Antenna is good when you can’t set one up outside.
