You can make anything you want. Just add it to the bar.
I messed up the chocolate at the end but next batch will be fine. I would like to find a chocolate that melts at a higher temp.
Really the shelf life will depend on what you put in them.
This batch is going camping and hiking with us. Only a few of them are going to the gym. The high sugar(marshmallows) will give us an energy burst. and the protein will rebuild the muscles/ repair the body.
