As you may already know, I create educational and entertaining prepping and survival videos on many projects and subjects.
I am hoping to help other avoid the pitfalls and mistakes I have made in the past.
I am not doing to the make money. I will use the patron funds to pay for my website, props and materials used in my videos.
In a perfect world I could quit my day job and just make videos frequent videos. However, I don’t see that happening. Maybe when I retire but not at this moment in time. I have been fortunate to have many viewers and that has provided me with the opportunity to really grow my channel. However, every video needs tools and materials sometimes different equipment, most of the time I have the materials on hand or re-purpose some other project.
I like to ask for your support, so that I can prepare buy the required tools and equipment and materials. Your support would assist me by providing for the cost of materials/resources and tools that every project needs.

So I kept forgetting to bring my glasses to the studio.  I still have lots of things to do. Well putting a hole in a cheap measurement is the way to go for quick measurements.

This is casein glue like the white glue we all use in school ( kind of)

1. Add vinegar to lukewarm skimmed milk so it curdles.
2. Drain the liquid component off from the solids.
3. Put solids onto a strainer to drain off excess liquid
4. In a bowl, add a base (such as sodium bicarbonate, ammonia or washing soda) to the curds, bit by bit, until they change into a creamy mixture. You now have casein glue.
Note that what you have at step 2 is low fat cottage cheese, so this can be used instead, skipping step 1.

This preparation lacks the antimicrobial present in commercial glue, so will spoil in storage. It may be frozen in ice cube trays for later use, or made when wanted.

Tarp-Tying Tips

If you have a tarp or space blanket, using rocks in the corners to tie into knots will make a much more stable shelter than will just weighing down the corners.

Crock-Pot Fermenting Yogurt From Probiotic Capsules

Back when I was having my teeth done. The dentist had me on clindamycin. I made sure to take probiotics during for 2 months after treatment. So my gut would be colonized with the right kind of bacteria to knock down the chance of me getting C-Diff.

Now I store probiotics with all my meds both live cultures and the other kind. I even use the live culture to make yogurt. I know after a few generation it would convert back to the strongest probiotic bacteria. But we are talking 1 crock pot of yogurt per pill.

It really extends the pills/supply’s.

This is how things were done in the old days.  I don’t know if it works or not but if i had no other options i would try it.

These were not even close to military spec. In fact probably expired when I got them.

I bought them a long time ago. They were supposed to be Military M.R.E. With heaters. if they were sold as camping or some other kind of M.R.E. then that would be ok. But they said 100% military issue. I think they were expired M.R.E.’s and repackaged then sold as new.
